Money, Money, Money....

When I started out on this little web-venture, it was with one purpose in mind.  To raise money.
Not for me, but for a couple of organizations that I know can use it and will help further the cause.

I chose Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri - because the asshats in our state legislature defunded them. (Lawsuit pending). When I was unemployed (for 17 months!) - Planned Parenthood was there for me. The thought that so many other women may not have that safety net - because of a bunch of rabid zealots' political agenda, makes me ill.

I chose the Wichita Chapter of the National Organization for Women, because it is my feminist activist home. I started attending meetings in the months leading up to Dr. Tiller's assassination. I was elected to the board that following summer and have served in various capacities since. We have a lot of good things we want to do - but we have to have the funding to do them.

Continued after the break.

With the current economic situation - fundraising is difficult, for all organizations. All I'm asking is for this little web-venture to be added to your list of considerations.

This is a long-term fundraising initiative - although, I don't plan on bugging readers about it TOO often :)

Please consider a purchase through the Shop! to help two worthwhile organizations - plus you get some kickass gear in the process!

Thanks for reading and thank you for your support!
